On 27th of October, CCDCOE held the first webinar in the National Cybersecurity Reports Series. The event focused on the cybersecurity strategy and governance model of Italy.
CCDCOE visiting researcher Samuele De Tomas Colatin introduced his recent report on the Italian cybersecurity organisation, followed by insightful addresses by the Italian Network Operations Command, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and eu-LISA, the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice. The online event was attended by a diverse audience from national government agencies and academia, but also international organisations and private sector.
The aim of the webinar series is to offer comprehensive overviews of the CCDCOE members’ cybersecurity governance, thereby improving awareness of cybersecurity management in the various national settings, supporting nations in enhancing their own cybersecurity governance, encouraging the spread of best practices, and contributing to the development of interagency and international cooperation.
The next event of the Strategy and Governance – National Cybersecurity Reports Webinar Series will focus on Germany.
