The First CyCon U.S. will take place 21-23 October in Washington D.C.

The inaugural U.S. based International Conference on Cyber Conflict will take place 21-23 October 2016 in Washington D.C.  Focusing on a theme of Protecting the Future, this international forum brings together industry, academia, and government.

The issues to be covered include the future of international cooperation, imminent technical challenges and requirements, forthcoming conflicts in cyberspace, and the potential for new legal frameworks, standards, and regulations.  Keynote speakers include Senator Mark Warner (Va), GEN (R) Keith Alexander, Ted Koppel, Teresa Carlson, Terrell McSweeny, and Kevin Mandia. The conference also features peer-reviewed papers and panels on the pressing issues of cyber defense.

CyCon U.S. is organized by the Army Cyber Institute at West Point, in collaboration with the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence.
