High Level NATO Officials Visited the Centre

On Wednesday, 27 of November, Ambassador Sorin Ducaru (NATO Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges), Lieutenant General Patrick Auroy (NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment) and Mr Stephen F. Smith (Director of the NATO Office of Security) visited the Centre to acquint themselves with the current works and future developments of the Centre.

Director of the Centre, Colonel Artur Suzik gave the guests an overview of the current status of the key projects of the Centre and plans for 2014. An expert from the Research & Development Branch briefed about the cyber defence exercise Locked Shields, an expert from the Legal & Policy Branch gave an overview of the Tallinn Manual.

Ambassador Sorin Ducaru, Lieutenant General Patrick Auroy and Mr Stephen F. Smith are in Estonia to attend NATO’s cyber defence exercise Cyber Coalition which takes place 26-27 November in Tartu, Estonia.
