Key cyber defense experts from NATO command structures as well as a delegation of the Cyber Defense Committee visited the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence as part of their tour of NATO’s Cyber Coalition 2016 exercise. The delegation included Ambassador Sorin Ducaru of NATO’s Emerging Security Challenges Division and key stakeholders across the Alliance. The Centre contributed to Cyber Coalition 2016 with staff and expertise. The NATO CCD COE provided legal and technical storylines focusing on international law applicable to cyber space as well as vulnerabilities related to malware and the internet of things, thus addressing the fundamental issues of digital forensics and attribution.
