Major Julian Charvat

Julian Charvat graduated from the now Anglia Ruskin University with a degree in Modern History in 1992.  After a year at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst he was commissioned into the Royal Military Police in 1993.  Having served in the UK, Cyprus, Germany and Bosnia he was posted as an instructor at the United States Army Military Police School in 2002.  He taught US officer’s anti-terrorism and instructed on the Anti-Terrorism Program Manager Course in Fort Leonard Wood and the Special Forces Intelligence Operator Course in Fort Bragg.  After company command he was posted to the Centre of Excellence Defence Against Terrorism in Ankara Turkey.  He has instructed in many aspects of terrorism on NATO courses, Advanced Training Teams and Workshops, including the NATO Science for Peace Cyber Defence Workshop in Yerevan, Armenia.  Julian also holds a Certificate in Terrorism Studies with St Andrew’s University.
