
Amit Sharma is currently serving as Deputy Director/Scientist C in Institute for System Studies and Analysis(I.S.S.A), Defence Research and Development Organization (D.R.D.O),Ministry of Defence, Government of India. He has worked in the field of Information Security, Strategic Information Dissemination Systems, Net Centric Warfare, C4I2SR systems and Secure and survivable networks. He did his B Tech(honors) in Computer Science and Technology from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur India and is currently pursing his Masters in Global Security from Defence College of Management Technology, UK Defence Academy, Cranflied University United Kingdom. For his outstanding contibutions he was awarded outstanding scientist promotion from Assistant Director/Scientist B to Deputy Director/Scientst C within a short span of two and a half years. He along with his team were awarded Technology Group Award (2008) for Strategic Information Dissemination project for Indian Defence Services. He was awarded Chevening Scholarship by Foreign Commonwealth Organization (FCO), British Government for the year 2008-2009 from India. His most recent publications includes Asimit – A virtual architecture for wide area file system., BBN approach for vulnerability assessment of strategic information dissemination systems, Xcalibur- A dynamic protocol for authentication and secure communication based on dynamic key construction and cryptographic algorithm selection.
