
Forrest Hare is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States assigned to the Office of the Secretary of Defence, United States Defence Department. In his most recent assignment, he was responsible for developing the United States Air Force’s cyberspace strategy as part of Military Strategy for Cyberspace Operations. In addition, he has served in numerous information operations positions world-wide.
Lt Col Hare is currently a PhD student enrolled at the George Mason School of Public Policy studying national security policy for cyberspace. He has instructed Economics and Geography at the United States Air Force Academy and the University of Maryland Asian Division. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, and a Master of Arts from the University of Illinois. He also conducted post-graduate studies at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, under a Swiss University Grant.
