
Melissa Hathaway will deliver keynote on the 2nd day of the Conference on 16 June.
Hathaway is the former cybercoordination executive for the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, a position also known by the name "cyber czar". She chaired a multiagency group called the National Cyber Study Group that was instrumental in developing the Comprehensive National Cyber Security Initiative, approved by former President George W. Bush in 2008. In April 2009, she completed president Obama administration's cybersecurity review. Since October 2009 Mrs Hathaway serves as senior adviser to Project MINERVA based at the Harvard Kennedy School, is the president of Hathaway Global Strategies and serves as an advisor to a number of contracting firms, including Cisco.
Other keynote speakers of the 2010 Conference on Cyber Conflict include H.E. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, president of Estonia and a renowned cryptographer, Bruce Schneier.
