Institutional status

NATO CCD COE is the 10th Centre of Excellence to gain full NATO accreditation by the North Atlantic Council.  Although the Centre provides NATO a wide range of products and services in the domain of cooperative cyber defence, it is not an operational centre, and does not fall within the NATO command structure.  NATO CCD COE is an international military organisation as defined in the Paris Protocol to the NATO Status of Forces Agreement of 1951.
