The Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCD COE) was formally established on the 14th of May, 2008, in order to enhance NATO’s cyber defence capability.  Located in Tallinn, Estonia, the Centre is an international effort that currently includes Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Italy, the Slovak Republic, and Spain as Sponsoring Nations.

The Centre received full accreditation by NATO and attained the status of International Military Organisation on the 28th of October, 2008.
