CCDCOE Organises Two Technical Courses in September

Cyber Defence Monitoring Solutions Course will be held on 6-10 September and Botnet Takeover Course on 13-16 September.

During the Cyber Defence Monitoring Solutions course, a number of important cyber defence monitoring techniques and solutions will be studied. The content focuses on event logging and collection with syslog protocol, regular expression language and its applications to system/network monitoring. Finally, event correlation, network intrusion detection and prevention will be explored.

The Botnet Takeover Course focuses on techniques and tools to detect and infiltrate botnets. After setting up a laboratory environment for botnet analysis and introducing reverse engineering of malware, course participants will conduct static and dynamic analysis of botnet traffic and practice botnet takeover during hands-on exercises.

Registration to courses has ended. Participation is open for representatives of NATO nations and free of charge  for Sponsoring Nations of the CCD COE. Technical courses on cyber security at the CCDCOE are organised on a regular basis.
