Registration for Cyber Conflict Policy and Legal Conference open

We have the pleasure of inviting you to International Cyber Conflict: Legal & Policy Conference 2009, an expert-level event arranged by the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCD COE) in cooperation with George Mason University Center for Infrastructure Protection (CIP). The conference will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on September 9 to 11, 2009.

This event is intended to bring together an international community of experts in government, private sector, and academia to discuss a multidisciplinary approach to cyber conflict management, as well as to share current initiatives and best practices. Presentations and panel discussions will deal with the operational and policy challenges arising out of the use of multiple lexicons in cyber incident management and focus on the priorities of nations and international organisations regarding cyber security and cyber defence. The aim of the conference is to develop tools and recommendations for some of the numerous legal and policy challenges in the field as well as promote closer collaboration among the international stakeholders of both public and private sector.

The main event will be preceded by a one-day training seminar on the legal aspects of cyber defence. The conference networking events will also give participants plenty of opportunity to associate with other practitioners and researchers in the field.

For the agenda updates and practical information about the conference, please see the conference website at www.ccdcoe.org/legalconference.

For registration you can use our secure website: https://www.ccdcoe.org/reg/643172579.

Also, please note that the accommodation offer in Swisshotel will only be based on availability after August 12. We therefore recommend that you book your room before that day or let us know about the intent to do so later so we can order additional rooms in advance.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference,
