Debuty Director of NCSA, Major General Nikolaos Ioannou-Sioutas, visited the CCD COE.

During his visit he aqquinted with the infrastructure of the centre and met with Colonel Lieutenant Ilmar Tamm, who introduced the Program of Work 2009. In detail the enhancement of NATO cyber defence capabilites was under discussion, as well as task division between the two entities in organizing training Cyber Coalition 2009 for NATO.

'Constructive and regular cooperation with the NCSA is necessary to guarantee the realization of the full potential of the NATO networks to analyze cyber defence issues' said Colonel Lieutenant Ilmar Tamm.

The NATO Communication and Information Systems Services Agency, NCSA, is a service provider to its NATO and national customers. Wherever NATO deploys on operations or exercises, NCSA is there, providing communication and information systems (CIS) services in support of the mission. Equally important, NCSA supports NATO’s ten major headquarters in Europe, North America, and Asia.
