October 28th: the North-Atlantic Council grants CCD COE full NATO accreditation and CCD CoE obtains the status of International Military Organization (IMO)
October 28-29: the CCD CoE Steering Committee convenes for the second time and approves the budget and the Programme of Work (PoW) for 2009
May 14th: the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed by Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovak Republic, and Spain
